ERP 114: ERP Business Concept 2
In ERP 114 (ERP Business Concept 2), the business departments involved include Maintenance, Human Resources, Customer Service, Planning/Forecasting, MRP, Production. Finance, Wholesale, Procurement, Retail Sales, Marketing, Logistics/Warehouse and E-commerce.
Essentially, in this module, learners will be able to handle all the departments involved in managing the business. With a complete integration of all the activities and tasks to run the business, learners will utilize all these interconnected departments and operate businesses as a whole.
The main learning goals of this module include deepening one’s understanding of:
1. Running a retail, wholesale (B2B) business, E-Commerce, and service business successfully, effectively, and efficiently.
2. Combine procurement and production strategy to achieve the sales demand.
3. Manage manpower headcount and scheduling efficiently.
4. Manage constraints and achieve targets.
Facilitators will have the opportunity to configure each business department to suit their classroom needs, whether it be turning the holiday mode on or off for retail sales, adding OCEAN factors and any staff issues for human resources, and etc.
Additionally, in the ERP 114 module, learners will deal with the external environment comprehensively, ranging from clients, vendors, consumers, web markets, B2B clients and more.
Through this module, all the other lessons learnt from the preceding modules from 101 up until 113 will be challenged once more. Financial, procurement, retail, marketing, forecast, warehouse, wholesales, E-Commerce, production, MRP, maintenance, human resources and services will be understood more deeply by the learners.
By completing the ERP 114 module, learners can be expected to gain insights into the correlation among these 13 interrelated business departments, and be able to analyze varying different business scenarios and adapt to these dynamic changes. Furthermore, learners can sharpen their skills on how to strategize and best meet their targets, as well as apply the lessons they have learnt to improve performance.
MonsoonSIM’s business simulation and gamification education platform offers a unique, experiential learning opportunity for students and transforms the way business concepts are taught in class. The platform immerses students into scenarios and configurations that mimic the real-world business environment. This facilitates an enjoyable and meaningful learning experience in a way where there’s more to learn, easier to learn.
