ERP 113: Service Business 1
ERP 113 module involves 3 main modules of Finance, Human Resources and Customer Service. As an important aspect of the value chain for customers, customer service spans from before, during, and after a specific purchase. The demand for service is often very fast and can be challenging when catering to a specific type of customer, so the ERP 113 module simulates this aspect of the real-world business environment.
The ERP 113 module also involves manpower scheduling in customer service, which addresses the question of whether the business has enough manpower to conduct sufficient customer service. This gives the opportunity for learners to make decisions on which service requests to bid for.
With the ERP 113 module, the learning goals to accomplish include:
1. Understanding about service dealing
2. Managing service order
3. The process of manpower scheduling
Through this module, learners will have the opportunity to observe firsthand how human resources and finance influence customer service, especially in ensuring that the service order can be met. Questions of whether there is enough manpower or about staff issue and resignations will also be dealt with by the learners.
Additionally, the ERP 113 module ensures that learners can see incoming service requests and anticipate for it, as well as maintain the service sales order. There is also the chance to participate in the sales service order bidding, ensuring that the factors involved in making this decision can also be analyzed and understood more clearly.
Offering a unique, experiential learning opportunity for learners, MonsoonSIM’s business simulation and gamification education transforms the way business concepts are taught in class.
