ERP 111: Basic Maintenance 1
In this module, the departments involved include Production, Finance, Wholesale, Procurement, Logistic/Warehouse and an addition of maintenance. Through the ERP module 111 (Basic Maintenance 1), learners will be able to explore the concepts involved in maintenance, such as predictive maintenance, periodic maintenance and develop a deeper understanding of when to perform or schedule maintenance.
The main learning goals for this module include:
1. Understanding OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency)
2. Learning about predictive maintenance
3. Covering the concepts of periodic maintenance
4. Comprehending the impact of maintenance on production
5. Analysing the impact of OEE on production capacity
This ERP module 111 ensures that learners can grasp the activities and decisions required to manage the equipment, ensure that its performance level is maintained and handle the corresponding costs of it all.
From these maintenance decisions, learners can then see firsthand the result of performing or not performing maintenance. From production report analysis and seeing the level of machine utilization, to weighing the maintenance costs, learners have the opportunity to reflect on several key points. These include understanding how machine performance can eventually degrade over time, exploring the 3 main factors involved in measuring machine performance as well as how overall equipment efficiency affects business operations.
This immersive business simulation and gamification education platform ensure that learners and teachers alike will have an enjoyable and meaningful learning experience as a class. MonsoonSIM looks forward to supporting more students worldwide through this unique, experiential learning opportunity that transforms how business concepts are taught in class in a way where there’s more to learn, easier to learn.
