MonsoonSIM Welcomes King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi in joining the MonsoonSIM Family!
King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, otherwise known as KMUTT, is one of Thailand’s leading research institutes. First established on February 4,1960, KMUTT’s origins came from Thonburi Technology Institute (TTI) by the Department of Vocational Education, Ministry of Education.
Located at 126 Pracha Uthit Rd., Bang Mod, Thung Khru, Bangkok 10140, Thailand, KMUTT strives for academic excellence and an energetic research culture in the fields of science, engineering and design. This is apparent in all of KMUTT’s 11 faculties and schools, namely: Faculty of Engineering (FoE), Faculty of Science (FSci), Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology (FIET), School of Liberal Arts (SoLA), School of Information Technology (SIT), School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D), School of Energy Environment and Materials (SEEM), School of Bioresources and Technology (SBT), Join Graduate School of Energy and Environment (JGSEE), Institute of Field Robotics (FIBO), Graduate School of Management and Innovation (GMI) and the College of Multidisciplinary Sciences.

Partnering with MonsoonSIM also furthers KMUTT’s mission, which is to develop its personnel to be capable of learning and to develop its students to be the best academically, to have virtue, morality and ethics, as well as to develop their educational and learning systems.
Having integrated MonsoonSIM’s business simulation and gamification education platform into their existing course since this August 2021, KMUTT’s Graduate School of Management and Innovation (GMI) has enriched the experiential learning journey of their students. Through the configuration modes of MonsoonSIM, which gives facilitators the opportunity to create their own scenario and courses, besides using MonsoonSIM’s official courses.
MonsoonSIM’s current role in the curriculum certainly supports KMUTT’s vision of becoming a science and technology university which is committed to developing educational innovation, research, creativity and entrepreneurship to create a strong and sustainable society. With unique features such as the dual teaching mode (simulation and gamification), AI-based virtual teaching assistant and data analytics support among others, MonsoonSIM’s platform provides countless advantages for KMUTT’s students.
