Founded on 8 April 1998, Universitas Galuh (UNIGAL) grows and forges ahead with great progress to promote and empower their students together with MonsoonSIM. With a motto of “Kualitas adalah Tradisi Kami”, which translates to “Quality is Our Tradition”, Universitas Galuh focuses on delivering education of the highest quality, which is now being recognized globally.
Located in the Ciamis district about a kilometer north of Ciamis city, which is renowned for their tourism and agriculture, Universitas Galuh is deeply focused in developing an entrepreneurial model by guiding students with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for business. Currently, Universitas Galuh is in close partnership with over 14 universities and educational institutes all over Asia and Europe, amongst them Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, University of Malaysia, Burapha University (Thailand), Fatih University (Turkey), Asia University (Japan), Tsinghua University (China), National University of Singapore, Gent University (German) and many more.
Universitas Galuh has been in close partnership with MonsoonSIM business simulation and education gamification since 2016. With over 6 years of invaluable collaboration, MonsoonSIM has supported the Department and Faculty of Economics at Universitas Galuh regarding the Management Studies and Accounting program. Each year, more than 1000 students use and apply the knowledge and theory learnt in their classrooms to MonsoonSIM, which encourages and stimulates critical thinking skills and provides exposure towards the inner workings of the real-world business environment.
With MonsoonSIM as the convenient and steadfast education platform working hand-in-hand with the facilitators and teachers at Universitas Galuh, this increases the active engagement of students in class and enables them to further develop their entrepreneurial skills, business management and strategic thinking skills. This supports Universitas Galuh's objective, one of them which is the realization of a conducive academic atmosphere that can encourage the spirit of continuous learning and work for the academic community.
The Dean of the Economic Faculty, Dr. Nurdiana Mulyatini, SE.MM, had stated, “MonsoonSIM has been an informative medium for our university and students.
