What is MonsoonSIM Enterprise Resource Management Competition(MERMC) Singapore 2023?

MERMC Singapore 2023 is an annual inter-varsity competition Powered by MonsoonSIM and its partners. The competition is a high-energy event involving students from all disciplines of higher learning institutions with the objective of exposing students to the concept of Enterprise Resource Management (ERM) through fun and exciting simulation games. In MERMC Singapore 2023, players will embark on an exciting journey of discovery as they immerse themselves in the dynamic world of running a large virtual enterprise. Through immersive gameplay, participants will not only gain essential business skills but also experience the thrill of fierce competition with other teams, vying to achieve the highest profitability and excel in key performance indicators (KPIs).

Objectives

• Expose students to the concept of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) through fun simulation games.
• From theory to application, students will be able to acquire more practical knowledge as a team and are ready to fit themselves in the real world. 
• Platform where students learn through visual engagement in a self-directed manner.

 

Competition Details:

Date: 3rd October 2023

Venue: Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) 

Requirements: Students form a team of (Min:4 / Max:5) members each (Name your team and nominate a team leader)

Participants: Open to all tertiary institutions' students, full-timers and part-timers. (including polytechnics)
