Demand Calculation:

• The MRP module calculates demand based on various factors, including committed outgoing shipments to retail stores, sales orders, and buffer stock settings. It accurately determines the quantity of products or raw materials required to meet customer demand.

Supply Calculation:

• Supply is calculated by considering factors such as stock on hand, raw materials on hand, committed purchase orders, and incoming shipments from retail stores. By evaluating the current supply situation, the MRP module ensures accurate procurement planning.

Purchase Requisition Generation:

• Based on the shortfall of products or raw materials, the MRP module generates purchase requisitions (PR). These PRs detail the quantity of finished goods or raw materials needed to bridge the supply-demand gap.

Make vs. Outsource Decision:

• The MRP module provides the flexibility to define the percentage of stock to be produced in-house versus outsourced. This setting determines whether the MRP suggests purchasing finished goods or raw materials for production.

Streamlined Procurement Process:

• By utilizing the MRP module, learners can optimize their procurement processes. Purchase requisitions provide a clear overview of the required materials, streamlining the procurement workflow.

Cancellation of Pending Purchase Requisitions:
